Urban Motion: A Ride Through Boston with Dino M.’s Suzuki DR-Z4SM

This shoot with Dino M. and his Suzuki DR-Z4SM took us through some of Boston’s most recognizable streets with a mix of city structure, movement, and raw attitude. The goal wasn’t to overstage anything, just to capture the bike and Dino as he rode through the streets of one of his favorite city routes.

The DR-Z4SM has a certain edge that fits the urban backdrop perfectly, lightweight, agile, and unapologetically stripped down. Paired with the lines of the Zakim Bridge in the distance, made for a balanced mix of mechanical detail and city architecture.

We shot during late afternoon, when the light starts to cut softer across the concrete. Dino’s relaxed riding style gave the session a natural rhythm, with motion and moments that felt real. Every frame ended up showing exactly that through simple, yet honest looks at a rider and his bike in their zone.
